Red-headed Bunting

Eocheong Island, May. I was astonished to find this somewhat confiding bird as it associated with Yellow, Chestnut and Little Buntings in a grassy field near the village's long-abandoned primary school. The Red-headed Bunting is a very rare vagrant to South Korea, and breeding-plumage males are almost unheard of.
